I quite like the idea of the cape in the 1st two drawings - it combines my initial idea of Tauranga vs Wellington through the use of opposite fabrics, this also creates a nice contrast.
I really like this cape/jacket. I think the hood is really practical and cool, and the angular hemlines + cuffs keep with my initial concept.
The topstitching adds an interesting element also.
